Useless stuff on CPAN

There are well-written and not-so-well-written modules on CPAN, but I didn't discover any really bad stuff until now. The module I discovered today is also not bad stuff, but just "completely useless" - but it's that good crap that it's worth a blog post :-)

I'm talking about Acme::MorseComments which converts all comments within your script to Morse code. Why? Oh, the author (and I) don't know, this might be the reason why he titled it "completly useless", but it's fun!

I'm thinking about writing a plugin for Padre using this module...

  1. The Acme namespace on CPAN is used intentionally by authors to show off useless, funny or otherwise unproductive modules. There are lots of amusing things there.
