I don't like Moose. It has a lot of disadvantages and tries to create a new language based on Perl - without any need. But I'm forced to use it within a project and working myself into all that stuff, the documentation turned out to be as bad as the one of DBIx::Class. This post is my attempt to merge the most important documentation parts.

Nein, sind wir gerade nicht und bevor ich diesen Satz zu meiner Frau sagen könnte, müsste ich schon ziemlich umfangreiche Umbaumaßnahmen über mich ergehen lassen, aber ich konnte der Aufforderung vom berlinstadtbaby einfach nicht widerstehen. Nein, es ging nicht darum, ihr ein Kind zu machen, sondern über die Entscheidung zu bloggen.
Martin stellt die - nicht ganz unberechtigte - Frage, ob bloggen überhaupt noch etwas bringt. Ähnliche Fragen tauchen immer wieder auf, gerne auch in einschlägigen Chats in Form von "wie bekomme ich mehr Besucher für meinen Blog?".
Lange habe ich überlegt, ob ich diese Runde der Eltern-Kind-Blogparade auslassen oder doch noch etwas dazu schreiben sollte. Relativ spontan kamen mir doch noch ein paar (wenige) Gedanken und so gibt es ihn doch, den März-Post zur E-K-B.
The Ubuntu NetworkManager (NM) is great (exept for servers), it's taking care of all network issues up to VPN. NM supports using multiple network connections with multiple DNS servers and probably multiple private domains by running a local DNSmasq process which will forward all lookup requests to the proper nameserver. But the NM is new and still missing some feature - like additional or custom configuration lines for DNSmasq.
I like Google Docs (which is now Google Drive, but I rarely use it as a cloud drive), but Opera and Google Docs aren't good friends and Chrome seems to be the only best browser to use Google's "online office". I like Opera and have no reason switching to Chrome except docs.
How to concat an array into a string? Perl is TIMTOWTDI and I could imagine two common ways - but which one is the best?
